Designing graphics for reels

Recently, I started using Instagram Reels to promote my business and noticed that some of my artwork would fall off the edges or not be the right margins.

I also found that the graphics themselves would sometimes interfere with Instagram's interface.

The suggested dimensions for Instagram Reels video is 1080 by 1920, but the dimensions from my iPhone Pro 12 is 1170 x 2532.

From there, I figured out Instagram Reels' margins and title safe areas by overlapping my video on top of a screenshot from when it was posted on Instagram and figured out where the different titles and user icons would be.

Now, I have the perfect margins and title safe areas for my Reels. Hopefully, this helps you too.
